  September 28 is my older sister's birthday. She became 23. She is university student and she plays basketball. She fell a teacher employment examination, so she works as a lecturer next year. I want her to pass the examination next year. She plays basketball, and she is over in a little bit. So I want her not to leave something to be regretted later. I will be cheering for her. Introduction

  Good morning. My name is Ekua, I'm from Ghana in Africa. Ghana is knowing for good chocolate. In Ghana, people eat it every day. My new job is chef. I cook Japanese foods, and sushi and takoyaki is a famous in my country. I have three restaurants, and it is thriving. My restaurants are very affordable. My new hobby is painting. If I have free time and my feeling was bad, I always paint. Now I am painting Mt. Fuji, because I climbed it and it was very nice. I painted a casual views of  scene, and this paint received a prize. Painting can change of pace. I don't like hot weather, because I don't like sweat. I like winter better than summer. I feel spring and fall is the best season for me. Ghana was very hot. I want to be moving.

  This book is interesting because bare writes letters for shops. I had not written a letter for store, but I had written letters friends who live in different area. I got to write postcard for my friends. I like to write letters because writing a letter is to easy to tell my real feeling. It is difficult for me to tell my real feeling directly, because I am so shy. I think writing letters are nice way to tell our feelings, for example, dissatisfaction or uneasiness. I want to write for radio and I want to ask it to play my favorite song.

BR 2-3 : The Pizza That We Made

  This is the mess that we clean away. We wipe. We sweep. We're done. Hooray! This is our pizza. It's ready to eat. It tastes so yummy. What a great treat! This was the pizza that we all ate.


  This book's pizza is so big. I want to eat it. Curry and rice was the first food which I made. I cooked it with my sister. I cut potatoes, carrots and onions. I and my sister cooked it for about two hours. It was good taste. My father and mother said "It's delicious," so I was so happy. And I thought cooking dinner was very tired. Mothers make dinner every day, so I think mothers are great and I respect hers. I want to be able to cook a lot of large repertoires. Now I live by myself, so I think I cook dinner everyday. But I can't cook everyday. Cooking is very tired. I want to cook pizza, because I can do topping my favorite ingredients. I do topping a lot of cheese.

  This book is interesting, because the motorway is stopped from the rare flowers. The people who live in this village says "stop making motorway," but it is not granted. I think the rare flowers have a wonderful power.

BR 2-1 : The Giant Jelly Bean Jar

 Ben knew the answer right away. This time, he lifted his hand high. Then he look ed at the jar again. He raised his hand a little higher. Then he raised it as high as he could. He even stood on his tippy-toes!

  This book's hero resemble me. When I was a first-year pupil, I was so shy, so I couldn't announce and raise my hand. Then, I liked talking with my friends, playing outside and doing foolish things. But I didn't like standing in front of a classroom and announcing in a loud voice. When I stood in front of a classroom, I blushed for shame. Now I blush for shame when I stand in front of classroom or announce. When I was third grader, I had to tell my mother feeling of my gratitude in front of my team mate of basketball club. I couldn't it, and I cried. I wanted to tell, but I couldn't it.

Summer vacation

   I went to Korea with my friend during summer vacation. We went to Pusan by a ship. It took three hours. I was very tired because I had to sit all the way to there. We arrived at there, we ate lunch. It was very good, bad little spicy for me. After that, we went shopping. We bought cosmetics or clothes. I enjoyed shopping. This travel was something pleasant to look back on. Someday I want to go Hawaii, Singapore or Guam with my family or friends.

My favorite sports

 I like exercises very much. My favorite sports are basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball.  I like playing basketball and volleyball better than watching. And I like watching soccer and baseball better than playing because I can't play soccer and baseball, so I like watching it. Of course I like watching basketball and volleyball. I surely watch soccer and baseball game when these telecast on TV. I think basketball is the most interesting sports in my favorite sports. I like men who play basketball. I think men who play basketball are the smartest in sports men. It is difficult for me to play soccer and baseball. When I was high school student, I played soccer and baseball during PE. I don't have sense of soccer and baseball.

Something special I did during vacation

  I got up late every day. This is my special thing. hen I go to school, I get up early.  I usually get up at seven or eight. My weak point is getting up early, but I have to go school. So I get up early. I think I'm ok that I get up late during summer vacation. During summer vacation I get up at ten or eleven and I stay up late. I can't this thing when I go to school, so I'm happy to get up late. I have to practice getting up early because my school starts soon. I believe I can do it!

September 10

 September 10 is my friend birthday. We have known since we were forth grader. We played basketball different team, but an area is the same, so we often met  and did a practice game. When we were a sixth grader, we exchanged letters. Then we didn't have a cellphone, so we didn't frequent contact. We went to different junior high school, high school and university, but we occasionally send e-mail and write letters. She is very cute and funny. I wish she has a great year. Happy birthday my best friend, Yurina.

Good and bad points about summer

  I think good point about summer is a dish of shaved ice flavored with syrup taste very good. When I eat it in winter, I don't taste good. I think summer is the best season to eat it. And we can go and swim in the sea and poor. We feel nice when swim in there. I think bad point about summer is hot. Summer is too hot for me and I sweat profusely. And we don't go out and see TV all day in an air-conditioned room. We don't move, so we contract an illness. I think the worst point about summer is the sunlight is very strong and we get a suntan.

How I study during the vacation

   I study English how to use a dictionary and a collection of words. My dictionary has exercises in English. I do it and I remember vocabularies. Now I remember few words, so I have to remember a lot of vocabularies. I use a collection of words and study it. There are a lot of vocabularies that I don't remember. And I have another way to study English. That is to speak American. An American came to Japan and stays at my cousin's house. When I visit my cousin's house, I want to talk her. I think to talk to Americans is the best way to learn English.

August 31

  Today is my cousin's birthday. He became 28. He lives in Shizuoka, so I can't celebrate directly, so I sent e-mail. I have not meet him for two years. I want to meet him and his children, but he can't come back. I may meet their new year's day. I am so looking forward to seeing them. I want him to have a great year.

What classes I will take

  I will take twenty classes in next term. I think Korean is the most interesting class in all classes which I will take, because I'm interested in Korean. Korean is so difficult, I can read Korean, but I can't understand Korean's mean. I want to be able to understand it. And Korean teacher was very nice, because sometimes he said jokes in spring term. It was interesting, and his way of teaching was good. I could understand his teaching. I am going to study Korean hard next term. I think an outline of linguistics is the most boring class in all classes which I will take. This class was not interesting in spring term,  cause I heard teacher's talk only, and this content is very difficult. I can't understand it at all. So I was always boring.
